Food Program

The Affordable Housing Alliance Community Action Program (AHA-CAP) has partnered with St Mark’s Episcopal Center for Community Renewal in Keansburg, to address the inability to access nutritious meals low income residents of Monmouth County currently face. St Mark’s operates a local soup kitchen and pantry that serves daily meals to both homeless and low income residents of Monmouth County. A hot breakfast is served Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. On Sundays, a continental breakfast is served at 11:00 A.M. Lunch is served daily from noon to 1:15 p.m. USDA allocations for food from the Monmouth & Ocean County Food Bank are offered at least once monthly. A nurse from the VNA is on site weekly to answer health questions and provide screenings, and a licensed social worker is onsite regularly.
